If your organization would like to be a member of QUILL Learning Network, please fill out the information below and mail a cheque to us, payable to QUILL Learning Network.

For more information on membership privileges, please read the Rights of Members and Opportunities for Members at the bottom of the page. The membership period is from April 1 to March 31.

Rights of Members

  • Members have the right to attend, speak and vote at all general meetings. They have the right to be elected to the board
  • If unable to attend a meeting, members have the right to submit one proxy vote each, to be used for voting at all general meetings and for the election of the board members
  • Members will be informed in writing of all general meetings at least 21 days prior to the meeting
  • Members will receive copies of the minutes of all general meetings

Opportunities for Members

Members are invited to:

  • Attend, when possible, all general meetings of the network
  • Share ideas with and support members in their delivery of literacy programs
  • Bring issues of importance and perceived needs in the literacy field back to network for distribution to the literacy community
  • Provide input and feedback as required about issues in the literacy field, in the community and for the support of the network
  • Put forward names of individuals to sit on one of the standing or nominating committees of the network
